Shipping & Secure Delivery

Pryce House

Shipping & Secure Delivery

Every Pryce House order is assigned a delivery method based on the type of merchandise and its documented value. Within the United States, we primarily use the United States Postal Service because it offers postal insurance and Registered Mail service for high-value articles.

We do not treat a carrier's declared-value field as a substitute for insurance.

How We Ship Each Type Of Product

Designer Sterling Jewelry

This includes designer sterling-silver jewelry and other finished sterling-silver pieces.

Shipping Method
USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Mail
Protection
Tracking and postal insurance purchased up to the documented purchase value, subject to USPS limits
Delivery
A recipient signature may be required depending on value

Fine Jewelry, Estate Jewelry And Custom Pieces

This includes finished gold and platinum jewelry, diamond and gemstone jewelry, engagement rings, estate pieces and completed custom orders.

Shipping Method
USPS Registered Mail
Protection
Postal insurance based on the documented value, up to the USPS Registered Mail limit

Registered Mail receives additional security handling and may take longer than ordinary Priority Mail. Delivery speed is secondary to maintaining a documented chain of custody.

Postal insurance based on the documented value, up to the USPS Registered Mail limit
Delivery
Recipient signature required

Loose stones are not sent through an ordinary uninsured or declared-value-only service.

This includes all one-ounce and two-ounce gold or silver TradeWear products.

Shipping Method
USPS Registered Mail

Protection
Documented value declared and insured within the applicable carrier limit
Delivery
Recipient signature required

Orders exceeding the available carrier-insurance limit require individual shipping arrangements before dispatch.

Rare Objects And Orders Above $50,000

These orders are not released through ordinary online shipping.

Pryce House will arrange an appropriate specialized insured service, secure hand delivery or another agreed method with the purchaser before the item is dispatched.

Gold IRA Transactions

Gold IRA metals are not shipped to a purchaser's residential address. Delivery is arranged directly with the approved custodian and depository according to the requirements of the individual transaction.

Wholesale And Trade Orders

Wholesale shipments may require different handling because of their quantity, value or commercial destination. The shipping method, declared value, insurance and delivery requirements will be confirmed on the applicable invoice or order agreement.

Repairs, Returns And Customer-Supplied Property

Do not send jewelry, watches, gemstones or precious metals to Pryce House without receiving shipping instructions first.

The correct return method depends on the type and value of the property. When applicable, Pryce House will provide or approve the shipping label, insurance amount, packaging requirements and delivery instructions before the item is sent.

Packaging And Delivery

Orders are packaged discreetly, without exterior wording that identifies the contents as jewelry, gemstones or precious metals.

High-value shipments require a recipient signature. Signature requirements will not ordinarily be waived, and delivery instructions that would leave a high-value package unattended may be refused.

Customers must provide a complete and secure delivery address. Address changes may not be possible after a shipment has been accepted by the carrier.

Insurance And Claims

Postal insurance protects against qualifying loss, damage or missing contents, subject to USPS terms, documentation requirements and coverage limits. Insurance does not cover sentimental value or consequential loss.

If a shipment arrives damaged or appears to have missing contents:

  1. Do not discard the box, wrapping, labels or any other packaging.
  2. Photograph the exterior package before opening further.
  3. Preserve everything received for possible carrier inspection.
  4. Contact Pryce House immediately.

Pryce House will coordinate the applicable carrier-claim process and request any documentation required to establish the item's value and condition.

International Delivery

International delivery is considered individually and is not automatically available for every product or destination.

Jewelry, watches, gemstones, coins and precious metals may be prohibited or restricted by the destination country. Available insurance limits may also be substantially lower than domestic limits. The service, insurance, customs documentation, duties and delivery requirements must be approved before an international shipment is accepted.

For questions about the delivery method for a specific item, contact Pryce House before completing the purchase.
